Before joining Sky Law, Cindy practiced at a prominent tax law boutique in Vancouver, advising individuals and businesses on matters including tax compliance, voluntary disclosures, and succession planning. She is known for translating complex legal issues into clear, actionable strategies that help clients make sound decisions with confidence. Her practice is especially attuned to the needs of small business owners, immigrant families, and clients with cross-border financial considerations.
Beyond her legal work, Cindy is an advocate for inclusive community development and newcomer empowerment. She currently serves as Vice President of the Burnaby North Road Business Improvement Association, where she works to support small businesses and promote local economic vitality. She is also a member of the MLA Business and Economic Leadership Council, contributing to policy dialogue on economic growth and equity.
Earlier in her career, Cindy coordinated international development programs in Taiwan and Cambodia, gaining hands-on experience in research, field operations, and nonprofit partnerships.
